Finally! Long-awaited by loyal Porsche fans and customers alike - the new and updated version of the Macan Turbo is ready to roll out. The new Macan Turbo hits the United States in the final quarter of this year, with an all-new and updated chassis and powertrain to go along with an improvement in performance. This is exciting for lovers of the Macan, as the car hasn’t been updated in a good amount of time. The impressive SUV has always been surprisingly quick, and if it only improves then the new updated version must be fun to hit the gas once that stoplight turns to green.

The new Macan Turbo has a 0-60 time of 0.3 seconds less than its previous version, whether you purchase the base model or the Sport Chrono Package, the quickness and acceleration is there either way. Porsche has stated that with or without the package, this equates to a 4.1-second sprint, which is very competitive for SUVs. On the underbelly of the car, you can find a 2.9 liter twin-turbo V-6 underneath the sheet metal. This is taken from both the Cayenne and the Panamera. The new engine of the Macan Turbo pushes out 405 lb-ft of torque, along with 434 horsepower. This is increased from the 400 horsepower of the previous version of the Macan, coming from the 3.6-liter twin-turbo V-6 engine. Previously, the Macan Turbo could be purchased with a Performance Package, boosting the output of the engine to 440 horsepower and 442 lb-ft of torque. Keep your eye out for an even more powerful package in the 2020 Macan Turbo. The top track speed for the model has been increased to 167 mph.

There are a few standard features on the 2020 Porsche Macan that have also become much more performance-oriented features that are now standard. Some of these features can include better brakes with much more stopping power promised, called the Porsche Surface Coated Brakes. They feature a strong layer of tungsten carbide in order to reduce up to 90 percent of brake dust to increase stopping power. Another standard feature on the new Macan Turbo are the impressive 20-inch wheels, Porsche Active Suspension Management dampers, and a sport exhaust. When purchasing, you can also opt for air suspension that is height-adjustable that is made with specialized rolling pistons along with brakes made with ceramic composite, and new hydraulics that are shock absorbers. Another unique addition to the turbo is a new redesigned fixed roof spoiler.

As for the interior of the car, there are adjustable seats to look forward to with 18 different positions that can be stored into the memory of the vehicle, a Bose surround-sound system with 14 speakers and a whopping 10.9-inch touchscreen.
