The lug nuts on your tire should be loosened using a torque wrench. Don’t remove them all the way.

Position your jack on a solid section of your frame where it can’t slip off or shift. Raise the vehicle until it’s slightly off the ground.

After removing the lug nuts the rest of the way, you should be able to easily slide the flat tire off. Replace it with your spare.

Replace the lug nuts completely, and lower your vehicle off the jack. Check the lug nuts before you hit the road!
