The Porsche 718 Cayman is a luxurious sports car that evokes the historic name of the iconic racing vehicle from the 1950s and 1960s. It offers nimble handling, fast acceleration, and excellent speed, and with a simple push of a button, you can also select a sporty performance mode.
Three different engines are available to choose from. The 2.0L turbocharged engine with direct fuel injunction delivers 300 horsepower and 280 pound-feet of torque for a top speed of 171 MPH when tested on the track. The 2.5L turbocharged engine with variable turbine geometry produces 350 horsepower and 309 pound-feet of torque for a top speed of 177 MPH. For the ultimate driving experience, the 4.0L six-cylinder engine boasts 394 horsepower and 309 pound-feet of torque for a top speed of 182 MPH.
A six-speed manual transmission comes standard, but a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission with shift paddles is available as an extra on all trims. Other optional features include active suspension management, torque vectoring, and high-performance brakes with four-piston aluminum fixed calipers.
